Rice: Such a result is hard to accept
Regarding Arsenal's 0-1 away defeat to Bayern Munich in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, resulting in a 2-3 aggregate defeat and elimination, Rice shared his thoughts in an interview.
Clearly, looking back at both legs, you had the opportunity to win. Does this make the 0-1 result even more disappointing?
"Such a result is indeed hard to accept, and I'm deeply saddened and disappointed by it. I came into this game with full eagerness and passion; I wanted to help the team progress, as did all our players. However, I'll take this game as a lesson. As you know, we're a young team, and there are high expectations on us now. The pressure on our shoulders is immense, and rightfully so, because currently, we're doing well," Rice stated. "This is Arsenal, one of the biggest clubs in the world. We need to keep our heads up and move forward. Next, we need to focus on Saturday's away game against Wolves. We need to respond there."
